www.newsmax.com/politics/miller-biden-immigration/2021/02/21/id/1010909/"Former White House senior adviser Stephen Miller on Sunday lashed into President Joe Biden’s immigration proposals and policies as “madness.” In an interview on Fox News’ “Sunday Morning Futures,” Miller, an architect of former President Donald Trump’s immigration policies, decried their reversal by the new administration. “The legislation put forward by President Biden and congressional Democrats would fundamentally erase the very essence of America's nationhood,” he maintained. “For the first time I believe in human history this legislation proposes sending applications to previously deported illegal immigrants and giving them the chance to reenter the country on a rapid path to citizenship. … This is madness.” I'm pretty happy this douchebag no longer has the ear of a President. I guess the "very essence of America's nationhood" is in the eye of the beholder.

www.newsmax.com/politics/border-illegal-immigration-migrants/2021/03/05/id/1012702/"Former President Donald Trump blasted President Joe Biden for the "spiraling tsunami" at the southern border. His comments came in a statement released on Friday afternoon. Federalist Senior Editor Mollie Hemingway posted a copy of the statement on her Twitter account. "The spiraling tsunami at the border is overwhelming local communities, depleting budgets, crowding hospitals, and taking jobs from legal American workers," he said. "When I left office, we had achieved the most secure border in our country’s history. Under Biden, it will soon be worse, more dangerous, and more out of control than ever before. He has violated his oath of office to uphold our Constitution and enforce our laws. "Our border is now totally out of control thanks to the disastrous leadership of Joe Biden. Our great Border Patrol and ICE agents have been disrespected, demeaned, and mocked by the Biden administration. A mass incursion into the country by people who should not be here is happening on an hourly basis, getting worse by the minute." Dispatches from Planet Trump.

www.newsmax.com/politics/texas-governor-gregabbott-nationalguard/2021/03/10/id/1013353/"Texas Gov. Greg Abbott has called out President Joe Biden's lack of attention to the resurgent border crisis, and now is taking the matter into his state's own hands. The Texas National Guard will be deploying 500 troops to the southern border with Mexico to stem the illegal activity at the border, Gov. Abbott announced. "We will work to step up and try to fill the gap that the federal government is leaving open by making sure we deploy every resource, whether it be Department of Public Safety or Texas National Guard, whatever we need to do," Abbott told reporters at a news conference Tuesday in Mission, Texas. "Texas is going to fight for the safety and security of our state."
I sure hope the Prez finds a way to put Governor A-hole in his place, which I think is behind bars. On the other hand, why make a martyr of an a-hole?

www.newsmax.com/politics/austin-afghanistan-deadline-troop/2021/03/21/id/1014590/"Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin made an unannounced visit to Afghanistan as the U.S. weighs the future of its troop presence and the risk of further territorial gains by the Taliban. President Joe Biden is under pressure to decide whether to abide by an Afghan peace deal reached during Donald Trump’s final year that’s aimed at bringing home the roughly 2,500 U.S. troops by May 1. It’s a deadline -- now just six weeks away -- that Biden has said “could happen” but would be “tough” to meet. Austin and Afghan President Ashraf Ghani met in Kabul on Sunday and discussed issues related to the peace process, a U.S. withdrawal and countering terrorism, deputy presidential spokesman Dawa Khan Menapal said. The visit wasn’t previously announced for security reasons. Austin last month pledged a “thoughtful and deliberate” review of U.S. strategy in Afghanistan, saying there would be “no surprises” for the Afghan government or U.S. allies with troops in the country. Biden said last week he’s consulting with allies on the drawdown’s pace." When it comes to foreign policy the idiots of the Trump regime who replaced the idiots of the Obama regime have been replaced by idiots of the Biden regime. What has changed?

WHY CAN’T AMERICA ELECT A PRESIDENT WHO CAN GET HIS S**T TOGETHER? Maybe President Harris will shock everyone and actually be competent.

So Biden is the fifth buffoon President since the last of the Greatest Generation Presidents. Frankly, I never cared about Biden winning, I just wanted Trump to lose. He’d still be President if he hadn’t turned so many people off with his coarseness. But Clinton, Bush, and Obama should have been one-term Presidents too. I have no doubt Biden will be a one-termer if he makes it that far.

From the NYT:
Lithuania’s small size, the foreign minister lamented, “made us an easy target” for China because “their calculation is that it is good to pick enemies way, way, way below your size, draw them into the fighting ring and then beat them to pulp.”
Eager to avoid getting pummeled, Mr. Landsbergis visited Washington this month and met with Secretary of State Antony Blinken, who pledged “ironclad U.S. support for Lithuania in the face of attempted coercion from the People’s Republic of China
So Blinken is sounding like a clone of Pompeo with this China-bashing. Alas, I will still vote, for all the difference it makes. But I have no praise for our political system.

So the narrative on the right is Putin would not have rolled tanks of Trump had still been Prez. Even if I believed it it’s unprovable. Such is the nature of history. But it will be good for Republican politics. If only Trump had not done those idiot tweets he would still be Prez, but that’s unprovable too.

Trump was an embarrassment to America because he was a buffoon. Biden is an embarrassment because he’s senile.

Definitely, if Trump didn’t, Biden answered the question. Yes, it does matter who is President. Not that they don’t all suck.

Perhaps the bigger question is do politics matter at all. I’m getting pretty jaded at the whole political scene. Should I care about the crusade against wokeness? Are the fanatics going to save America by taking over the school boards? They may be surprised to find no commie conspiracy, just mind-numbing bureaucracy.

Talking about Biden in another thread made me think about how I feel about our former Presidents. Using one word to describe what I feel, I’d say disgust with Clinton, bewilderment with Bush, disappointment with Obama, contempt for Trump, and as I said, pity for Biden.

Besides wokeness, another thing the world probably does not give a s&it about is Mar-a-Lago.

Here I thought Trump was the worst President since Truman. Now Biden is giving Trump a run for his money.

So we had Clinton II, Bush II, Obama II, but only Trump I. Non of them deserved a second term IMHO. Nor does Biden. But it looks like we will either get Biden II or Trump II. (I would prefer Harris I but that’s not happening). What a lovely Meritocracy we have.🤮
