Why 2016 now? Because Obama has it wrapped up in 2012. How do I know? For the s**t he is getting from both the right and now the left. He is perfectly positioned for re-election. So you Obamaphobes better prepare yourselves...

Biden Jr. would run for the presidency in 2016, when he would turn 74 years old. That puts him in the same place where Vice President Dick Cheney was in 2008. That means that Republicans who can afford to wait until 2016 can assure themselves not only that they will not face an incumbent Democratic president, but also that they won’t face a sitting vice president."

Would Hilliary take it, hoping for the expected spin off? Or do they have some other dark knight hidden somewhere?

When RINO-to-be President Romney comes up for re-election in 2016, who will the Democrats have to run against him? Hillary will be....69 years old. Too old? I don't know. But I'm sure Democratic males will be as misogynistic in 2016 as in 2008, so she's out.
Any guesses?

www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2011/12/201112293613576282.html"Newt Gingrich and Mitt Romney - the perfect dynamic duo for our times, if not the end times. A Batman and Robin for the one per cent. Defenders of truth, justice, and a Gulag Achipelago filled with child janitors and the fandango of the foreclosed. If you're rooting for President Obama, or just plain enjoy the guilty pleasure of watching a Real Housewives of the Neo-Confederacy, your dream contest has arrived. Even before the news cameras and nation's attention trek north to the frostbitten fields of Iowa, these two should provide constant amusement as they do battle over who's had the most swift conversion to the principles of the Tea Party."

A scary thought.
So let’s say BHO gets his sorry-ass kicked in 2012, since Clinton he’s the best snake-oil salesmen the dems have. Will we see a BHO run in 2016 against an incumbent republican?
Maybe Michelle should take up singing.

So who do the Dems have for 2016? I'm sad to say I hope it's not Hillary. She is just too old school. Heck, the Dems have been stuck with the Clintons since 1992. Where are the young, hot Dems with new ideas, a Democratic Paul Ryan? Frankly, I think it's NECESSARY that Romney become President in 2013, otherwise the Democratic party will stagnate for four more years. Being on the out might nurture new voices. Or Hillary will kill the party with same old same old.
Of course, that might make an opening for the Greens, which would make me happy.

Greens would make me happy also that is why I was one for 12+ years. This country needs more than 2 parties but not to worry there are plenty of used car-salesman that can be Obama like in 2016. Dems have the corner gutter.

Hips will resign shortly as Secretary of State. She will surface in Iowa soon.

Sounds like it's back to business as usual at Fox News. Michele Malkin is almost getting hysterical about Benghazigate. if things go as usual, the opposition will try to generate some scandal to paralyze the President's second term (Watergate, Iran-contra, Monicagate). Plus, of course, it's good for ratings.

Heck, 2016 is still years away and already there is Hillary fever going on in the Dem party. Talk about peaking early! I was much more excited about her in 2008, mostly because I thought she was the only Dem that could win. (Wrong again, dredd) Now she has to run as the Dem who lost against Obama. The good part is she has already survived 21 years of GOP mud being thrown at her and is more popular than ever. (I wonder how many Dems feel guilty about 2008?) The bad part is she is getting up there in years. How would she look debating Rubio? Oh well, first she has to still be alive in 2016, as do I.

While I'm not certain Hillary can win in 2016, I'm much more certain Joe Biden can't. Thank God.

Biden would be the republicans dream candidate. Hillary is over the hill. The Benghazi debacle and her brain issue ensures she's burnt toast.
Rand Paul as prez and the old man Ron as VP, how funny would that be?

Yeah, I agree a Biden candidacy would be handing the GOP the WH on a platter. But I'm not sure how much Benghazigate is going to stick on Hillary. Young people have short memories and can't even find Libya on a map, and I'm especially not sure young Hispanics and blacks give a crap about foreign policy like old white folks do. The more serious issue for her is as you say: She's rather old now. Of course she doesn't look any worse than Margaret Thatcher did when she became PM.
