So what happens to poor Carson? Were they just pawns in the evil NFL owners dirty game? And how about St.Louis? Are they just SOL? I guess that depends on if you think an NFL team leaving your town is good or not.

I was in a bar the other day, which had college football on their TV, and I saw an advertisement for Prop C, the Charger initiative. Couldn't hear the sound but they showed an illustration of the proposed stadium, and frankly they should call it the Toilet Bowl. What an eyesore.

As I said Before Let the Billionaires Owners pay for their stadium and dock some of over paid Millionaires players pay to help pay for the stadium! Not the Tax Payers! Sorry Sports Fans you know its fixed do you?? News Flash its fixed! Just as you made fun of Wrestling Fans saying its fixed staged and Rigged! News Flash Duh! We already know that! Try Again!

So San Diego's two-faced mayor Faulconer, after promising face-to-face to the Comic-con people that he would do anything he could to keep the Comic-con there, stabs them in the back by endorsing Prop C funding Spano's downtown Toilet Bowl which would go a long way to driving Comic-con away. He proved he was a good Republican soldier. Comic-con doesn't care that much, they can do just as well in Anaheim, with Disneyland next door to make it even more awesome. So San Diego may be losing a world-class Comic Convention but keep a third-rate NFL team. Spanos and Moores are laughing all the way to the bank.

Well, it is over a year later, and the NFL bullies are long gone. For now. Still, there is a fight for the Q (Now SDCCU?) between some rotten development called "Soccer City" and SDSU. Personally, of course, I think they should give it back to nature and make it a parkland, but that ain't going to happen, even though it might help a lot with traffic in Mission Valley.

Can't argue with nature but I would also support education. SDSU can't grow, they are turning away 1,000's of applicants every year. This is more than a stadium it is education. An expanded campus insures some of those turned away will have an opportunity for an education. Soccer City is bad for San Diego, it is bad for education. And who cares about soccer anyway?

SDSU received 93,610 applications for fall 2018 only surpassed by UCLA at 102,000 under graduate applications. The best investment the people of San Diego could makes is SDSU West and f' Soccer City

I agree. If they are going to give away the land, I'd much prefer them giving it to SDSU. What is awesome is that there is a direct trolley from the Q to SDSU. That could help traffic and parking in the college area.
