Among the many Blessings in my life is the people here on this board. I have only had pleasure of face to face with one but have grown attached in ways to all of you. The bickering and bantering only adds to the overall value of life and some of you are on facebook as well which adds another ellement of social electronic personality to the mix. Jack of course is always there with another cartoon to smooth the pain of the negative aspect of politics but in the end it is all of us, the people and differences which makes it rewarding! Thank you one and all for your valued input in our lives! Oh geez, did you have to make this sound like one of those gushy birthday or anniversary cards that I'm compelled to buy for my wife?

Here's how you guys have screwed up today for me: I went down to the Midway post office to mail my continuing claim form for UI, and it was infested with several dozen Tea Partyers (plus four cop cars). Now normally I would have given them the international symbol for F-you as I drove off, but then I thought, "Damn, one of these people could be Dolphie or nikki or even Jack!", and I couldn't do the deed. Thanks a lot. No.1, I find it a bit silly on your part that you would choose to pay a visit to the Midway P.O. (the main post office) on a day that, regardless of the Tea Party or not, has forever been congested on April 15. No. 2, I find it more silly that you consider it a ruination of your day because you didn't take action against those "evil" tea partiers by withholding your middle finger at a bunch of strangers who got in your way of running such an errand. No. 3, I find it even more silly that, instead, you chose to post that silliness on this blog as if we should thank you for sparing us from your departing (drive-by) obscene gesture just in case we, the familiar strangers, were out there getting in your way by peaceably exercising our 1st amendment rights. BTW, that is not the "international" symbol for F-you. I don't believe there is one. But, then, I don't think that is the point.

Frankly, I didn't think anyone would take that post, in this thread, all that seriously. I just found it amusing I ran into everyone's beloved Tea Partyer's today.

JD - we are subjected to negativity on all of the other threads. Can you not just leave the crap on the other threads and let this be a bit of a ray of sunshine? animal - my apologies. I love the idea of having at least ONE thread that is positive and I honestly and sincerely appreciate this thread.

Now Now calm down and read JD's post again cause it is one of his most positive angles of late. He actually got off his couch and drove to the post office to mail in his extended unemployment claim - now that is a positive move if you axe me! Pelosi would have had her aids do it afterall...

pretty close, Jack....
I got a call from the Calif disability people asking questions about doctors, illness, etc.... I figure they are itching to get me off thier list of checks to write. So, based on that, we decided to do a few things..... not worry about it first off...... and go ahead and get pushing on the small business and see what happens. Once this next heart roto-router is done, I should be feeling lots better and able to do more to include finding contracts when needed. Wifey agrees, but she wants to go along this time. So, it looks like some excitement might be on the horizon this year.
