Admission is not my weakness. JD your are a racist. Jack O you are a PIG! Left out again. What am I? Bruce you were not nor would I expect you to be, involved in such nonsense therefore no reason to include you. Jd was the "set up man" to pin down the target. Besides you were busy collecting music and getting engaged! Much nobler activity.

Howe many times do I have to repeat: it was NOT a ruling on the "reverse discrimination". It was on whether the city was acting legally on their IMPLEMENTING of the law, NOT the law. C'mon Tired, you re smart enough to understand. I guess you'd rather misinterpret it to prove a point. Bruce, Technically you are correct, however whether she is supporting a racist city law or defending racist activity in application of that law is not so clear. It does not matter now as she is the next SOTUS appointment.

I for one I’m sick of some here screaming racism and when challenged tuck their tails and run. Race has had nothing to do with the Sotomayor conformation hearings. It is the left that’s obsessed with racism and prompts an ill agenda to promote a divide. In fact the left in the name of Senator Boxer exhibits more racism than anyone on the right has in the Sotomayor conformation hearings. Senator Boxer seems to believe that Harry Alford, President and CEO of the Black Chamber of Commerce, should think and act in lock step with other black organizations, like the NAACP. Alford will have none of it and calls Boxer out during a Senate energy hearing for her racial attitude. Good for him! If anyone is a racist it is lefty Boxer But you are the guys who are proud of your very own Robert KKK Byrd. Hypocrites. Harry Alford should be a hero in the black community - but wait what’s that silence? Had Boxer been a Republican Senator we all know what post after post after post would read, but not a peep. If I were (and I’m not) appling Jack Oliver logic everyone that did not speak up is a racist. JO been to a shoe store recently?

Turk, I couldn't find an email for Mr. Alford, so I just left a message on the NBCC site and addressed it to him. I also left a message to Boxer. I am sure that I will get a template email back from Babs THANKING me for my insults, which she, of course, never read.

YEP did the BABS thing and got a message directing me to the Library of Congress War Veterans testimonies with instructions on how to participate in the veterans archives. I assume because she is married to a veteran and it directly relates to her ignorance!

Good for you contacting Babs, at least us right of center care about racism.

I have never heard of Mr. Alford but I think he over-reacted a bit. And it seems you all are definitely over-reacting. Because of a confrontation with Sen. Boxer, he should be a hero?

Have you put Mr. Alford in the -- to use YOUR words -- "oreo" category? Interesting how you defend the presence of the Black Panthers at a polling place waving a night stick, but you think Mr. Alford over-reacted.

Have you put Mr. Alford in the -- to use YOUR words -- "oreo" category? Interesting how you defend the presence of the Black Panthers at a polling place waving a night stick, but you think Mr. Alford over-reacted. I didn't say anything, I said I never heard of Alford and know nothing about him. Of course there was no response as to why he should be a hero other than the confrontation with Boxer. Both this and the "panthers at the poll" stories are such minor stories, mostly discussed by the far right sites, not many care. I have said nothing about Mr. Alford one way or another except that he over-reacted. To make him a "hero" because he had a disagreement with Boxer is absurd. We don't need others to tell us whom we should admire. Jackson and Sharpton were appointed "our" leaders by the media. When pushed for an answer to the question "whom do you consider the most important black leader?" many blacks will say, just to give an answer, one of the above. My answer, I don't need a "leader" anymore. I don't consider Obama a black leader, he is THE president. I haven't had a "leader" since MLK. Many blacks, particularly youngerones, laugh at the two so-called leaders, of course not in general audiences. It seems no one tells Asians, Mexicans, Jews, etc that they need a "leader". All communities have local people who take a leadership role in certain areas,i.e. education, politics, business, but none have "a leader". As for Mr. Alford, I suspect he will fade away quickly.

Look at his record, particularly his pro KKK statements.Anyone I have called racist deserves it based on their record. Not even Rocket was given that label by me.
