www.sandiegouniontribune.com/military/sd-me-hunter-trump-20161111-story.html"Widely considered to have made the short list of candidates for top national security jobs in Donald Trump’s administration, Rep. Duncan Hunter of Alpine pledged Friday to make the Pentagon great again after eight years of Democratic control. “I’m excited about a warrior culture, a warrior mentality put back into the (military), as opposed to a corporate culture ruled over by the bureaucrats and lawyers,” Hunter, a Republican member of the House Armed Services Committee, said in a phone interview. “The warrior culture is going to get infused into (the department) again. It’s probably going to take a while because a lot of guys who had that mentality are no longer there, but maybe people’s true colors can show now, a little bit,” he added." The Trump Presidency just keeps getting more and more hilarious! Here is my ex-congressman (I was gerrymandered out of his district, thank God) in line for a spot in the Trump regime. I guess it makes sense for a lunatic to be in the administration of a lunatic.

One of the more interesting things about a Trump Presidency would be seeing what he might do with Obamacare. I was never a fan of Obamacare from the beginning, and now it seems it's hitting turbulence. So what would Trump's plan be? Go back to the way it was in the bad old days, that is, if you can pay for medical care you live, and if you can't you die? Maybe he would surprise us all. Easy solution!! 1. Let people buy Health Ins. over the states lines and state laws should cover all states to prevent Ins screwing and fleecing people! Buying Health Ins. over the state lines will offer more cheaper competitive Rates! I find this line of thinking from conservatives to be endlessly amusing. In case nobody gets the irony let's spell this out: The reason health insurance is not available over state lines is because states have the right to regulate the buying and dispensing of medical insurance within their own states. States get to say which insurance companies get to even operate within their borders, and under which regulations and laws, laid out by that particular state. States' rights. Ring a bell? You can't just pass a federal law saying that all insurance companies should be able to compete across state lines. Unless of course you want to obliterate state sovereignty in that regard. How is this "solution" so popular among conservatives? Here's how: It's the opposite of Obamacare. That's all the conservatives care about. It's either hypocrisy or idiocy.

I guess you have to look beyond the end of ones nose to understand this one. Insurance companies could sell insurance across state lines if they comply with the individual state laws. Nothing changes but it would create regulatory competition. Free market, ring a bell? To equate the ability to purchase insurance intruding on states’ rights is silliness. But maybe you are in the insurance business.

So my hope that the world might treat our new President with contempt is mistaken. I guess the USA having a clown con-man bully as leader doesn't bug them one bit. Maybe they were already aware what the USA was about. I supposed I should ask why they would care about women's reproductive rights, civil rights, inequality, or immigrant bashing in the US. As long as our money is good, they don't care. So be it.

Hillary certainly didn’t care about women’s rights, the proof is in her acceptance and deals made with those same countries Obama fancies. I’ll get this quote wrong I’m sure, so I call it a paraphrase, “we get the government we deserve.” So goodie, now we can be like those misogynist, homophobic, head-looping countries that Obama admires. At least we now have the respect of Russia. Whoopee and Happy Thanksgiving.

Go back to the way it was in the bad old days, that is, if you can pay for medical care you live, and if you can't you die? Maybe he would surprise us all. When the Democrats developed Obamacare, the Republicans had an alternative healthcare bill. Of course it was ignored. That being said, there were some provisions that were contained in BOTH bills, even though the Republicans had zero input to Obamacare. The healthcare plan the Republicans had was available online, imagine that! Yes, the Republicans were letting the PEOPLE read their proposal BEFORE voting for it! It may still be available, I haven't checked. I am sure that it will be presented as the foundation to replace Obamacare. They may or may not change it. Trump and the Republicans will replace Obamacare very quickly. Even then, it will take time as there will be a need for a transition period phasing one out while phasing the other in. At least, it will involve healthcare and not "control of people" as Obamacare does. Even though the plan was developed 8 years ago, I suppose it will be nicknamed Trumpcare!

How is this "solution" so popular among conservatives? Here's how: It's the opposite of Obamacare. That's all the conservatives care about. It's either hypocrisy or idiocy. Lets look at these in reverse: It is not so popular among conservatives because it is the opposite of Obamacare, it is because competition would drive the costs down! Something the state just might not want! I agree that a federal law is not the answer, at least in the direction of competing across state lines. The first part of the second sentence is all telling! The state restricts various Healthcare companies from doing business within the state even if they follow the same rules, laws, etc. of all the other Healthcare companies. That is a selective form of monopoly. Supposedly it is to protect the small guy from the big guy who might (and probably will) charge less, but really stems from a host of unscrupulous connections including campaign financing, kickbacks, protecting family/friends healthcare business, etc. If a Healthcare company wants to do business in a state, following the states regulations, it should be allowed to do so. Particularly if it provides a benefit to the people! One of the key reasons health care costs keep rising is because of lack of OPEN competition. It is all finely (overly) regulated, and like all other over regulated businesses it costs the consumer more!

So The Douchebag is considering ROMNEY as is Secretary of State! My esteem for Romney, which went up when he slammed Trump, has now gone back down if he takes the job. The guy has no integrity.

Gosh darn, I can't imagine why Putin would want to help Trump get elected. Oh, silly me, it's got to be because Putin wants to help him Make America Great Again! Yeah, that's the ticket!

www.nationalreview.com/article/443251/donald-trump-abandons-movement-campaign-promises"We are one month from inauguration day, and it looks like the Donald Trump revolution is already almost over. In its place is a globalist establishment led by a rogue tweeter. Doubt me? Let’s review the great causes that motivated his base. Since winning the White House, Trump has not “burned it down.” Instead, he’s “built it up.” Trump’s anti-establishment candidacy has put the establishment in charge. Paul Ryan and Mitch McConnell remain at the helms of the House and Senate. McConnell — the ultimate insider — may now be the most powerful Senate majority leader in decades, thanks to Harry Reid’s weakening of the filibuster. Trump’s core wanted to destroy both men. Instead, they rule their chambers and look primed to pass their own agendas through Congress." Hey b, here is some evidence of what I suspected all along, that The Charlatan's real agenda was to Make the World Safe for Billionaires, and he was going to stab his white working class dupe supporters in the back, like Obama stabbed the anti-war left in the back.

Now that the Con-man in Chief has filled his cabinet with generals and billionaires, it will be interesting to see if he follows up on some of his big-mouth tweets. He has already had the foreign policy Establishment worried about his cozying up to Russia. Doesn't he know we are grooming Russia (again) to be the Big Nemesis required for defense spending increases? He's sounding like a foreign policy amateur. Kind of like Obama. And he has criticized spending on that big defense sacred cow, the F-35, which has been in the works for decades not only for our military but for some of our biggest "allies" such as GB, Israel, and Japan. I'm no expert, but it seems like that ship has sailed. I expect him to back off rather quickly on both Russia and the F-35 after he is inaugurated.
