I’ve never been a cat lover, and never had much use for cats, until, until. That is until I met my wife, she lived alone in a condo in Mission Valley (the 1st condos development in MV, she spoke more Russian than english) we met in a small bar in La Jolla it was one of the first gigs Hollis Gentry had, we both knew Hollis but did not know each other.
Well very long story short, my wife owned a cat that was the offspring of a Scottish Wild Cat escapee from the zoo, he was a kewl cat. I have a picture somewhere I'll hunt for it, you'll be amazed at the size of this cat and it is not fat. So the first time she invited me over to cook dinner I brought fresh jumbo scallops for the cat, I grilled them to perfection. It’s pretty easy to please a woman take care of the cat a great massage and a relationship begins, four kids later we still have fun.
When we move from the coast to the farm cats have zero chance of survival.

It’s pretty easy to please a woman take care of the cat a great massage and a relationship begins, four kids later we still have fun. When we move from the coast to the farm cats have zero chance of survival. Even around Encinitas - cats are referred to as coyote bait. Outdoor cats' chances of survival are low when one is on the east side of I5. I am not a cat person. My sister is. I have many friends who are. My sister has one that was abandoned by a family in her neighborhood. It was just left - a domesticated animal and just deserted. The cat adopted my sister and her husband and has not left since then. It had separation anxiety for a few years - yet now, it is fine. Feisty, a great hunter and mostly outdoors - yet she stays indoors at night. Even though they live in Northern CA. Cats seem to love me and will come to me in a crowd before anyone else. They don't seem to clue into the fact that I do not like cats. Or maybe they do and just want to rub it in (no pun intended - or maybe it was).

Dolphie Don't know if you've heard this - but the 'lil critters are prone to AVOID those noisy folks calling them and waving at them when they go into a room - the aloof cat sees the "non-cat type" looking away, avoiding them and NOT making noise, hence makes a beeline for the quiet one in the room who is trying to avoid them and have the gato go elsewhere ! And you just thought you were loved by all (you are, you ARE ! we k-i-i-i-i-i-i-i-d you)

I KNOW they have radar!!! That radar is attuned to people who do not like cats! The more someone does not like cats the more the cats' radar goes off and focuses in on the cat disliker. At that point in time the cat is so excited it employs that leg rubbing thing and the lap jumping thing. It only gets worse after that!
