I worried, I wept, I had nightmares...that one day, the government would use it's latex glove of violation on us for one of our most prized modern day advances; the internet.
For those of you who don't know net neutrality is the term that has become popular in the cyber world meaning freedom of the internet; such as freedom of the press, religion, etc. Net neutrality dwells into the concept I hate most, 'censorship'. There's quite the list of proponents to censorship - what we can and cannot see. Net neutrality exists today with some extent, people are able to make websites about making bombs, websites about their religion, and websites with porn or what have you. You can compare it to an author who writes books...sure they publish something you don't like, so don't read it. Same thing with the internet, if stuff offends you, it's simple - don't look at it.
Imagine an internet that doesn't let you access religious sites, blogs, or anything created by an individual, only websites created by big business to get you to BUY PRODUCTS. That's what has been in the talks with major internet corporations around the world and our current FCC chairman, Kevin Martin. Now, I write this title telling everyone not to worry because Obama is actually doing something well;

This link is the story to Obama's pick for the chairman of the FCC. Julius Genachowski. This guy is someone like me who spends their time researching new technologies and working with computers. He's a techie who supports net neutrality. Hopefully the government will keep their filthy censorship loving hands off our internet as they've already messed up television with it's censorship.
