I have so much fun watching Murdoch's "The Five" that I thought they deserved a thread. Hey, threads are cheap. Today their opening segment was ripping Jim Carrey a new one over his anti-gun video...again. Hey, it's a slow news week. I still wonder where they dug up their token "lib". He's more pathetic than Alan Colmes, and that's saying a lot.

One of the other people the Five Stooges love to pick on is Bill Ayers, of course, whom they describe as a "domestic terrorist". I might have described him as a revolutionary, but I suppose the difference would be too subtle for their small minds. Of course, they have the right to label Bill whatever they would like, including "Spawn of Satan" if that makes them happy. And I have the right to label the FS as pathetic morons.

Bob "the fat guy" for a lib has more than a half brain but the best of the 5 is the legs on the babes. Priorities.

Darn, I'm leaving town soon and I won't be back until tomorrow afternoon. That means I'll miss The Five's outrage-de-jour when someone in the Obama administration, or someone who knows someone in the Obama administration, or someone who's heard of the Obama administration, will say something offensive to vets or Christians or gun owners or rich people job creators or white guys in general and TF will have to get their underwear all in a bind. Always good for a laugh.

jd, I guess for you it is all right to ridicule a dead man (he can't really defend himself, can he). Yes, it really made so much sense for Jim Carrey to insult 90 million Americans! i wonder if his bodyguard, who does carry a weapon, felt the insult. Yes, it makes so much sense to castigate the gun owner, while our vaunted Senate has yet to respond to the consequences of the mental health issues from which ALL the recent massacre perpetrators suffered. I wonder do you think Barry will stop skit shooting?

It might help if I had actually seen the Carrey video, but the flow of vitriol heaped upon Carrey by TF, especially that "Red Eye" guy, seemed really over the top.
And believe it or not, I probably pretty much agree with you on the guns and mental health issue. As I've said before, I'm not on the gun control bandwagon.

Missed TF today so I might as well pick on Bill O'Rielly. Ya know, Jay Leno was just forced out of the Tonight Show because he had become "old" and out-of-touch. Yet, Billo looks like he is still on "top"' at least with the cable news crowd, which themselves may just be old and out-of-touch. On the other hand, maybe comedy is just a younger guy game, unlike the pompous gas bags who infest cable news punditry. Speaking of pompous gas bags, I wonder hoe much longer Rush will rule the airwaves?

I suppose everyone realizes that "The Five" is a Faux News version of "The View". it's Murdoch's tool to fight the "Culture War", Today their big story was some MSNBC pundit using the word "collective" in an ad. Wow, they really have to dig deep to find their daily fake outrage.

But I don't understand why anyone would give MSNBC the time of day.

I don't like the idea of some cable news network to claiming to be the voice of liberalism, just like righties should hate Fox trying to be the voice of conservatism when they are only in it for the money. The only real allegiance they have is to the almighty dollar.

Murdoch's stooges on "The Five" have reached a new low on debating the trivial today. Their lead issue was some rapper going to perform at Harvard. Yawn. Is Roger Ailes losing his mojo? Is Fox News so 2004? I wonder what the demos are on who watches this crap? I am an old white guy... And even I am only good for 15 or 20 minutes of it.

Well, today The Stooges have something real to talk about instead of some comedian insulting hicks or whatever usual fake outrage. No yuk-it-up BS, they are somber. For now. Won't last.

Fake liberal Bob Berkel just appeared on Billo's show, arguing for a halt in student visas for Muslims and Chinese, no doubt because of the Boston bombing. If you need any more evidence the guy is a phony, how about this: he's substituting for Rush Limbaugh next week. I'm sure some of you think Rush is a phony conservative, so that is perfect: a fake liberal substituting for a fake conservative.

Today on my 15 minutes of TF watching (any longer and they get into total fluff), that big lump Bickel is out today, so Fox has it's other token lib of Juan Williams. At least Juan puts up a little fight.

Dropped in on TF today, and once again they are slamming Bill Ayers. Well, that's what propagandists do, they try to spin history. My question is: Does anyone care? But TF gives it all away with their next subject: Jodi Arias. It's all about ratings, folks.
