The MSM reportes the news, along with opinion/Talk radio and websites like Newsmax and World Net Daily give a right wing slant on the news. The difference is the MSM generally keeps the two seperate. If you want to learn about a topic,go to the MSM;too many people hear something on Hannity and thinks it's news.

Well Bruce, the too many people you are talking about are really only people, whos ideals and thoughts are already slanted and hoping the news turns out their way-- Conservos.
Lets look at today's headlines from World Net Daily-
Watch Obama commercial they don't want you to see Fox, CNN, MSNBC refuse ads
WorldNetDaily Exclusive Eligibility issue to follow Obama into Oval Office Supreme Court sets 'natural born'conference to follow inauguration
Talk to Supreme Court yourself about Obama WND makes it easy, cheaper to ask justices to resolve questions
Join 200,000 others in seeking citizenship proof Petition demands verification of Obama's eligibility
Has Pepsi gone 'gay'? 'Something for everyone' marketing takes on whole new meaning
Choice of a 'gay' generation What do you think of Pepsi's apparent support for homosexual causes?
Lawsuit seeks safeguards from 'gay' harassment 9/11 cited, marriage supporters told: 'You haven't seen anything yet'
America's pro-homosexual giants: 2009 259 U.S. businesses recognized for benefiting 'LGBT' employees
'Gays' immune to Massasetts budget cuts Funds slashed for schools, mental health, but pro-homosexual school programs intact
FROM JEROME CORSI'S RED ALERT WorldNetDaily Exclusive U.S. to break up by 2010? Nation predicted to collapse due to immigration, economic decline, moral ruin
These are the bigoted subjects that Rick Roberts and other Conservative hate talkers run their shows on. Thats why we need the "Fairness Doctrine" redrawn and instituted. You have the "Bubble heads walking around, like Lori thinking these are facts.
WND just two weeks ago had the same headlines talking about the release of Ramos and Compeon which isn't going to happen.
They spread lies that no one believes except people who are so wacked out that they can only see the conservative ideology as their life blood.

VOR the Fairness Doctrine is a worthy topic, perhaps you would like to start a new thread. Joe the Plumber goes to Israel to cover the Gaza War for an Internet site. Joe is not a correspondent but what the hell he was not a really plumber either.

The best candidate for President in 2012 entered by conservative Republican is Sarah Palin?? This is the best they have? She said yesterday that Tina Fey and Katie Couric have exploited her?
Poor sad Sarah.....did Tina and Katie open their mouth and spew out ignorance and stupidity? No.
Sarah Palin continues to show what a dimwit and off kelter moron she is. And this is the type of quality that Republicans have to showcase.

Notice that today the house started doing the amazing and fair things it is capable of. This is the difference between what Congress did before and what it will do today.
Today, in a vote of 247-171, the House passed the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, which boosts a woman’s ability to bring pay discrimination lawsuits. The bill overrules a Supreme Court decision that workers must file a discrimination claim within 180 days of a pay violation, even though many people don’t learn about the wage disparities for years. In a 256-163 vote, lawmakers also approved the Paycheck Fairness Act, which closes “loopholes that have enabled employers to evade the 1963 law requiring equal pay for equal work.” Watch House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s (D-CA) floor speech in support of both bills: The House has passed both bills in the past, but they failed to become law under veto threats from President Bush.
Why would any President veto "equal pay ofr equal work". Why, because the conservative ideology thinks of women as inferior. How terrible to believe that is the case.

... Join 200,000 others in seeking citizenship proof Petition demands verification of Obama's eligibility ... That's funny. In other words, "join the other one-fifteenth of 1% of the U.S. population that still thinks Obama's citizenship is an issue."

I've had many of my post deleted but of course I was there to pimp SD Scene. For example, I posted the below only to have it deleted a few hours later: Talk to yourself here or join us at San Diego Scene, sandiegoscene.proboards.comI can not blame them for deleting my posts, nevertheless the KFMB blog is an unfriendly environment.

Yes,both of you(Jack Oliver and vor) are correct. There seem to be reasonable Republicans and then the far-right types. Many of the reasonable ones are jumping ship.A friend of mine who had never voted Democrat in his life(his first vote was for Goldwater in '64) voted for Barack Obama this time around. The far-righters refuse to listen to anything that is counter to their views. The fringe on both sides will never participate in the healing process. My presidential voting history consist of voting for one democrat and two republicans, otherwise I threw my vote away and voted in protest. I consider myself right to far right of center fiscally and center to very left of center socially, hard to find pigeon hole that I can fit it. Boy, Im gone for 2 days and there have been ALLOT OF GREAT POSTS AND DISCUSSIONS. I congradutale CM for this great blog that allows different points of view to be debated. I also congradulate everyone here for discussing openly and freely in an adult fassion, even when disagreeing. I have a question for CM. You stated earlier that your points of view vary. I would love to hear what social/dem programs you state you agree with and what democratic president earned your vote. Knowing where people come from politicaly helps in repsonses as to not pigeon whole them incorrectly, or think their opinion is not really what they believe in. You have always seemed to me,(not that it matters of course), but to me you almost never champion a good social/dem topic, and also you seem to give the benifit of the doubt to most republican topics. I know I dont have specifics right now, but I hope you understand my question. Any of your democratic/social agreements would really open up these discusions even more. I see allot of change in people here on you blog CM and at least we are all debating with facts and of course our opinions without creating a larger divide. THe GOP and talk radio's goal is to divide and conquor. Here we are at least realizing we are all Americans with some diferent points of view. I read all the posts I missed in my absence and someone said that if America is united, the terrorist loose. THAT WAS AN AMAZING AND TRUTHFULL OPINION.

I read all the posts I missed in my absence and someone said that if America is united, the terrorist loose. THAT WAS AN AMAZING AND TRUTHFULL OPINION. Jack Oliver, I’ll try to respond to your questions/statements not necessarily in order. Thanks for the accolades but please don’t refer to the San Diego Scene as my blog I’m merely a participant no different than you, it belongs to all of us. To be honest I did what I did for selfish reasons. I enjoy discussing issues, events and just plain old bull shit (yes we can say shit) with our group. I felt that was slipping away at KFMB and did not want to lose what we all of us had. When KFMB took the message board away and revamped the blog that indicated to me KFMB had zero interest providing a format for dialog. When I read Gene and others felt it was too cumbersome to communicate I did something, that’s it, plain and simple. I’ll answer your questions without elaborating. Many are worthy of their own topic and a more appropriate place for discussion. Voted for Regan twice Voted for Clinton once (I would have voted for JFK) I align 100% with Obama on gay rights. I reluctantly support 1st and 2nd term abortion, 3rd term only with special circumstances. I support stem cell research I support legalization of marijuana I support immigration reform and securing our borders. Many if not most of the illegal immigrants I know (almost daily contact) also support securing the border. I support Net Neutrality I do not support the Fairness Doctrine. I support lowering taxes Mostly I give everyone the benefit of doubt, experiences will erode or build on benefit. p.s. Yesterday my wife and I attended the Aztect basketball game we go with another couple, we also meet friends at the game. On of the couples we meet is a gay couple, my wife and I have know them for over 20 years. I took up your challenge telling Irish Mike’s joke about gays. First they did not think it was a very good joke, secondly they thought it was mostly a true statement, and they thought it was absurd to think anyone would be offended. For what it is worth.
