The state of California may be sending out IOU's instead of tax refund checks.Well that's one way to get money into our pockets so we can start spending to head off this recession.Maybe this idea belongs in the Joke Center.Funny when they owe us,it's alright to be delinquent with the payout, you owe them and there's penalties and interest and wage garnishments, not to mention the national joke you become if you ask a presidential candidate a serious question. Our state politicians ignore the laws and promote helping everyone that can cross our border at the expense of us and our children.Don't break the law and allocate all the states monies to helping illegals get education, housing, healthcare and then tell us your broke.BOO HOO oh well where's my tax return, jerks? We are spoiling people rotten.

One year my wife and I both claimed our son(only 1 back then)so come tax time we ended up owing the state and feds and did not have the extra money to pay at that moment,oh boy threatening letters abound of wage garnishment.Luckily the next year we over payed our taxes and we were able to pay off the previous years debt and get a refund.Life's only guarantee-Death and Taxes.

Arnold is in a very tough position. He has to cut spending somewhere and whatever gets cut is going to create an outcry from those groups.Remember the DMV employees protesting their paycut and short layoffs?Things are only going to get worse if we can't stop excessive spending. Maybe time to bring back the chaingangs to start cleaning our communities.

I heard this on the radio today. Last time I checked, Arnold is a republican. Figures. Arnold inherited the Davis disaster, keep giving without regard to income.

As usual blame Arnold! As mentioned, he inherited this financial burden from Davis. The financial disaster from Davis is probably the only reason that a Republican won the Governor's office! This state has a majority Democrats in the state Senate and the House. It is they who will PASS the bill to authorize the I.O.U.

We just keep doing the same thing(our government) and when things come apart we are so quick to blame red or blue. We are STILL doing the same incorrect things so next time you vote your just voting for the next scapegoat. Government only understands spending and when that is the cause of a problem they are totally lost. Does anyone believe that more money is the answer? What good is stimulating the economy if the money will be worhtless shortly?

The mentality is throw good money after bad; many things never change only the faces. Big government will not solve the problem, it is only when government figures out a way to work themselves out of a job will it be different.
