It’s been 54 years since Che was executed, and sadly or happiily he’s being forgotten. His kind of revolution is obsolete in the 21st Century. So perhaps I’m going to forget him too.

It’s the 55th anniversary of Che’s death. Am I nostalgic, in this time of Nationalist wars, for the time of ideological wars? I don’t see our present cultural wars are ideological unless you think feminism is an ideology. They don’t seem like class wars.

Fifty-four years after his death, Che is still dead. Died fighting for a cause long past its expiration date. Wait, maybe some Zombie Marxists remain.
