www.nytimes.com/2020/06/09/nyregion/who-is-martin-gugino-buffalo-police.html?action=click&module=Top%20Stories&pgtype=Homepage"It is true, his friends admitted: Martin Gugino is an activist, a seasoned peacenik who in a lifetime of protest has taken part in demonstrations against military drones, climate change, nuclear weapons and police brutality. But Mr. Gugino is also a football fan, they said, a mild-mannered bachelor and a Buffalo native who returned to his hometown some years ago to care for his ailing mother. The one thing he is not, however, those who knew him said, is what President Trump suggested he was on Twitter Tuesday morning: a wily Antifa provocateur." Is there anything too stupid for Trump not to say?

www.nytimes.com/2020/06/17/opinion/antifa-protests.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage"A sheriff from a nearby county, John Ward, warned citizens in a public Facebook post of rumors that the anti-fascists could rampage into his area as well. “I was told they are looking for a fight,” he explained. Ward added that he had no problem with peaceful protests — a Black Lives Matter protest had been held peacefully in the local town of Brookings — but he hinted that citizens might want to help the police fend off any antifa attack. “Without asking,” he said, “I am sure we have a lot of local boys, too, with guns that will protect our citizens.” Of course, no rampaging anarchists ever showed up. The Battle of Coquille ended without beginning." Ha-ha! This is hilarious! Delusional Oregon quasi-fascists (of which there are more than you might think) running scared. Antifa has become another right-wing fairy tale.

www.nytimes.com/2020/07/17/opinion/portland-protests-federal-agents.html?action=click&module=Opinion&pgtype=Homepage"Thursday night marked the 50th consecutive night of demonstrations in Portland, Ore. The protests began after the killing of George Floyd — tens of thousands of people took to the streets to protest police violence and racial injustice. Since then, the protests have grown smaller, but clashes between law enforcement officers and protesters have escalated — on July 12, videos circulated of a federal officer shooting a protester in the head with a nonlethal munition, resulting in a skull fracture. Coverage of the unrest has caught the attention of President Trump, who vowed to “dominate” the protesters with federal law enforcement officers. According to recent reports from Oregon Public Broadcasting and other outlets, federal agents dressed in fatigues have been patrolling the city in unmarked vans, grabbing and detaining protesters, often with no indication of whether they’ve been charged with any crime. “This is an attack on our democracy,” Portland’s mayor, Ted Wheeler, said." Meanwhile, in Portland it is the feds against the kids. Good going, Boomers. May you get Covid-19.

The kids have learned from history. If a group like Antifa had leaders, they would all be in jail, so they have learned to go leaderless. Got to feel sorry for the FBI, no? Not really. Also, a leaderless group makes planting informers a lot more difficult. Must be frustrating to law enforcement who have always depended on informers.

Cornetta, president and general manager of 9News, said on Saturday night. He said the producer had been released." Uh-oh, a trigger-happy Pinkerton. Haven't seen that many of those since they were murdering Union organizers at the turn of the last century.

"Antifa scum" ran for the hills, huh? Could be. But only Trump would say something that stupid.

www.newsmax.com/politics/matt-gaetz-republicans-capitol-riot/2021/01/07/id/1004629/"Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., and other Republicans are claiming, without evidence, that the violent riots at the Capitol on Wednesday were instigated by members of antifa, and not supporters of President Donald Trump. “I don’t know if the reports are true, but The Washington Times has just reported some pretty compelling evidence from a facial recognition company that some of the people who breached the Capitol today were not Trump supporters, they were masquerading as Trump supporters, and in fact were members of the violent terrorist group antifa,” Gaetz said on Wednesday night, after Congress resumed its session." This all just gets funnier and funnier. And I say hats off to Antifa for making themselves the big boogeymen of the right (Were the Proud Boys too big of pussys to it themselves? So they outsourced it?). As for a "facial recognition company", maybe it was a Chinese firm. More conspiracy fun!

There is proof however suppressed. A couple of the Antifa thugs on video in the Capital were in Portland a few weeks ago burning, looting and doing what cowards do best. China Joe won't do a thing, but I would round every single one of the low-life, scum-bags and send them to Gittmo. And a little water boarding just for laughs.

www.nytimes.com/2021/01/30/us/politics/trump-right-wing-domestic-terrorism.html?action=click&module=Spotlight&pgtype=Homepage"WASHINGTON — As racial justice protests erupted nationwide last year, President Donald J. Trump, struggling to find a winning campaign theme, hit on a message that he stressed over and over: The real domestic threat to the United States emanated from the radical left, even though law enforcement authorities had long since concluded it came from the far right. It was a message that was quickly embraced and amplified by his attorney general and his top homeland security officials, who translated it into a shift in criminal justice and national security priorities even as Mr. Trump was beginning to openly stoke the outrage that months later would culminate in the storming of the Capitol by right-wing extremists."

While some of us Antifa sympathizers may be outraged at the arrest of eight fun-loving Antifas while the Trump supporters they clashed with go scot free, i’m not addicted to outrage like I imagine most AM radio listeners are. Did the Antifas really expect to be able to engage in violence without paying the consequences of their actions? Maybe they did. And are they surprised at the obvious bias of San Diego cops for the Trumpies? They shouldn’t be. And any real revolutionary should expect jail time as part of the project. If not, go home and watch sports.

Seventy-seven years ago, Hitler’s war against Communism came to an end. I’m reading some of his writings and seeing the echoes in the rantings of some of the radio bigmouths, who seem to want to start where he left off. Demonizing Antifa was a good start.
