www.politico.com/story/2015/08/politico-caucus-republican-debate-donald-trump-biggest-loser-121146.html?hp=t3_r"Donald Trump’s first presidential debate was a disaster. That’s the assessment of Republican insiders in this week’s POLITICO Caucus, our weekly bipartisan survey of the top strategists, activists and operatives in Iowa and New Hampshire. They offered their reactions immediately after watching Thursday’s 9 p.m. prime-time debate in Cleveland. Forty-four percent called the controversial real estate mogul the biggest loser of the evening, critiquing everything from his refusal to rule out a third party run, to perceived misogynistic comments to his acceptance of single-payer health care in other countries. “Trump is an egomaniacal thug and everyone who never watched The Apprentice now knows that, too,” an Iowa Republican charged. “What was his worst response: third party, chauvinism, single-payer, or bankruptcies?” railed a New Hampshire Republican, who like all participants was granted anonymity in order to speak freely. “His limited number of supporters can’t look the other way on this stuff forever.” As much as I think The Donald is an ignorant blowhard totally unqualified to be President, this kind of a hit piece on him rubs me the wrong way. The comments of these so-called "top" Republican activists who must remain anonymous is total bullshit in my book. Who knows if they really exist or is Politico just inventing them? How would we know? I smell Koch. That is a hit piece. Who one, who lost is as debatable as the debate. I didn't like the way Fox started the debate. It felt more like a sporting event than a debate. I think Fox targeted Trump so Trump did well as a target. Trump is not my first choice, however I do believe we need someone that is not a career politician. Jeb was very disappointing.

www.cnn.com/2015/08/08/politics/donald-trump-cnn-megyn-kelly-comment/"Atlanta (CNN)Donald Trump's feud with Megyn Kelly escalated Friday night when he said the Fox News host had "blood coming out of her wherever" at this week's Republican debate, resulting in swift condemnation from conservatives and a major political event pulling its invitation to him. During Thursday's presidential debate, Kelly pressed Trump about misogynistic, sexist comments he made in the past, such as calling some women "fat pigs, dogs, slobs, and disgusting animals." Trump slammed Kelly, saying her questions were "ridiculous" and "off-base." "You could see there was blood coming out of her eyes," Trump told CNN's Don Lemon on Friday night. "Blood coming out of her wherever." But the comment crossed the line, RedState.com editor Erick Erickson said Friday night. He disinvited Trump from the RedState Gathering, a conservative event featuring GOP presidential hopefuls this weekend in Atlanta. Trump was scheduled to give the keynote speech Saturday night."
The Donald's first big mistake. Calling "illegals" rapists, no big deal. (I'm sure some of them are, but so are some American citizens) Taking on Crazy John McCain, also no big deal. But taking on infobabe Megyn Kelly with a crude remark, that is unforgivable. The GOP establishment are sharpening their knives for his disembowelment as I write, just like this Red State guy.

www.politico.com/story/2015/08/donald-trump-camp-in-crisis-121180.html?hp=t1_r"Fallout from a crude attack on Fox News anchor Megyn Kelly and the departure of a top political adviser roiled Donald Trump’s campaign Saturday, leading Republicans to question whether the laws of political gravity have finally caught up with the real estate mogul. Trump’s insinuation Friday night that Kelly’s tough questioning during Thursday’s debate was a result of her menstruating — an assertion that followed a series of other attacks on the popular Kelly — left many wondering whether he could weather the latest controversy and remain in the race, even as his campaign continued to act as if nothing was amiss." This is what I find most amusing: The party that complains the most about political correctness is crucifying The Donald for his lack of political correctness!

I guess I should have written my comment better. What I was saying was that The Donald's comments on illegals were NOT a mistake. His mistake was saying rude things about Fox infobabe Megyn Kelly! As for Megan Kelly She Just like the liberal Moderators. Let's see liberal Moderators do same thing attack being biased, and Megan She got what she deserved protecting Reukes elites! If she try to disrespect me, as Hateful person wants to Run for Prez. I'm will not be a nice guy I would have said Listen you Bimbo why don't you shut your clap trap just because your Repukes master order you to make me look foolish, and start asking Real Questions on Important topics on what american public want to hear, and keep your mouth shut until I finished answering your questions. One more thing, So what if Donald said Rude things to Megan and other liberal Moderators, If they Disrespect you with their Little Attitude then you deserved to get smacked with rude comments! Moderators are a big Joke FOX showed their true colors, As for liberal Moderators they been like that for a long time! So if Donald didnt run for office, and some other Regular Americans and Me want to run for office and said truthful remarks Just like Donald did, We would been attacked by both party, and liberal Media and FOX will ordered their Mods to be more biased to protect their elites, and snub people like me and Regular Americans. You bet your sweet ass I would be very disrespectful in Return and make Mods look stupid! They start it I finish it.

It was about 20 years ago I saw a 60 Minutes piece about John Kasich in his first year as the Chairman of House Budget Committee. The couple of years before he had attempted to get balanced budget legislation passed and had introduced healthcare bills as alternatives to Hillary's. The story showed John going down to an actual barbershop to chat everyday with folks about money and the workings of the government. I thought back then, "THAT guy is going to run for president some day."
If he or say Chris Christie were to somehow rise to the top of the heap for the Republican nomination, I say there's a fair chance the GOP wins the White House. Most of the rest of that clown show don't have a chance. Just my opinion.

Much as I love The Donald (me and every Democrat), he is still an idiot. I read today he is a fan of John Bolton (Mr. Mustache) on foreign policy, a Fox regular. Need I say more?

Not many idiots are worth a billion dollars. I might be wrong but I'd expect a very smart guy to become a billionaire. If that is an idiot then I'd volunteer and I'm not from Tennessee. Bolton is amusing, smart and comical. Yes, say more.

Can you be a genius at making money and an idiot at foreign policy? I suspect it's possible. Making big bucks is often about finding a great scam. Scamming other countries is a little more difficult IMHO. As for John Bolton, that he is the go-to guy for perspectives on war and peace for FOX NEWS tells me all I need to know about him. Every time I hear him, it's "more war, please!".

www.businessinsider.com/poll-donald-trump-hillary-clinton-2015-8"A new poll out Wednesday found that real-estate mogul Donald Trump is only 6 points behind former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton in a theoretical general-election matp. According to the CNN/ORC survey, the Democratic front-runner leads Trump just 51% to 45% among registered voters. If the poll is accurate, it represents a sharp improvement for Trump. Though Trump has surged to the front of the GOP field, polls have previously found him lagging in general-election matps." . Ha! I think I will start calling him Ronald Trump. He may be the big successor to Reagan that the GOP has been looking for for 27 years! They do share a lot in common, including lots of hair, a big red nose, and big shoes. I'm lovin' it!

I thought I posted this earlier but, here's a thought: I believe that someone can be an ignorant buffoon when it comes to politics, the constitution, foreign policy, etc, and still be an amazing business person. I believe Donald Trump is a good example of that.

It makes sense that in a general poll saying, who has your vote if it came down to Trump v Clinton, that all of the right would say Trump and all of the left would say Clinton, and then there would be some sort of split amongst the middle. In this case the middle is going for Hillary. In the meantime, I find it interesting how, in the media, instead of discussing the meaning of what Trump actually says, there is this need to analyse whether or not what he said "hurt him" or how it played out in Iowa and New Hampshire, and so on. Kind of like, HOW he said what he believes is more important than what he actually believes. LOL. Everyone who supports him runs around saying oh the political-correctness police are all over the donald, and we love a guy who isn't afraid to talk straight, etc. But they fail to realize that the reason such statements (rapist murderer illegals) get such airplay, is they so clearly display his understanding of the issue, and his beliefs. In the long run it is those beliefs on which he will sink or swim. I believe he will sink like a rock. I don't believe the Republicans will find him amusing for all that long. At some point cooler heads prevail, just as they did in previous seasons with the likes of Herman Cain and Michele Bachmann, neither of whom could reason their way out of a paper bag with their understanding of geo-politics or the constitution. OF COURSE his statements are not hurting him. Right now all we have is polls and frankly the Republicans appear all giddy for this guy, just like they were Giddy for Perry, Cain, etc. Everyone gets their 15 minutes, haha. Reagan was a totally different case. He was involved in politics for two decades before winning. He was the California Governor. He was very centrist. His moderate position is how he won all those "Reagan Democrats" over. I still scratch my head over the current Republican practice of lionizing the man while simultaneously disparaging every current politician espousing the same positions Reagan held. "We need another Reagan!" they chant, but Reagan couldn't possibly pass the current conservative litmus test. I'll step off the soapbox now. This is all just my opinion, take it or leave it.

I’m not so quick to judge, just not sure. I’d like to have someone that has a mind and not afraid to speak it rather than a Hilary where every word, thought and move is choreographed. I would find Hillary as the most false-empty person ever to pursue the WH. I find Sanders like Trump as people I can say I know in the 80 percentile where they stand. I might not agree with either but I do know where they stand. Hillary is void of any understanding. Trump and Sanders are far from buffoons in all aspects of life and politics. Hillary cares only about Hillary and who is Bill not sleeping with. I digress, haha, intentionally. I’m thinking Trump will be around a lot longer than you think and longer than I would have guessed. He has gone from showmanship to a sincere person that wants to help the country willing to spend his own funds to achieve that goal. But to get down to meat and potatoes. Trump represents the anger that much of what America feels as a resulted of 8 years of pure bullshit. I don’t know if Trump is the right person or not but the idea of electing a non-politician is gaining steam. I’m tired of used-car salesman in the Oval Office. Finally Trump has taken a chapter out of the democrat play book. Pull the emotional cord without regard to reality. We’ve endured emotions for 8 years without substance. Also if you research Luntz polls Trump leads with democrat voters. Let’s not hijack this thread and debate the validity of Obama. We see him differently, I’ll concede that. I only mention Sanders as a person that has a position. I mention Hillary as she, if not in jail, is most likely the nominee of the left. It is only August 2015 I’m not going out on any political limb until sometime in March 2016.
