Today the Stooges are talking about the same easy target I did: the forgotten tomorrow State of the Union tonight. What I have yet to hear them talk about is Fox News being caught lying about non-existent "no-go zones" in European cities.

Today: Greg goes on a rant. What is America's biggest threat, global warming or Islam? Greg says Islam, of course, and if you disagree you are an idiot. Personally, I think the greatest threat to America is right wing demagogues put on the air by irresponsible corporations.

Today: Deflategate. Really? How lame is that?

Today: Boring blab about prisoner swaps with Al Qaeda. Might be interesting if you believed in the bogus "War on Terror".

Plus they talked a lot about "Gitmo", that vulgar Americanization of a perfectly good Spanish name.
No class.

Today: Mitt chickens out. Still, I have higher esteem for him now that he overcame any lingering egotism. I did say before that if Jeb wants it, it's his. I wonder if Murdoch's well known animus toward Mitt had anything to do with it. Of course that didn't stop Mitt from getting the nomination in 2012.

Today: Cheerleading for war. Again. So much stupidity in such a short program. Really, Rupert, what is it you are asking for? Have you forgotten how many times in history war has destroyed the status quo? Of course, he might just be a historic ignoramus, historically speaking.

I forgot to mention one humorous moment in the Stooges' Friday show. They were talking about Susan Rice and her comments on "existential threats", and one of the Stooges (Eric) said (I paraphrase) "What is all this talk about an existential threat? I don't even know what existentialism is". Of course Eric has never struck me as being the sharpest tool in the shed.

Today on the Stooges: Don't worry about what Obama tells you to worry about (climate change), worry about what WE tell you to worry about (ISIS), even though you elected Obama twice and we are just paid stooges of Rupert Murdoch, who was never elected to anything.

Today on TFS: It's been a few hours, so all I remember them talking about is how evil ISIS is and how Obama sucks in fighting it, or even talking about it. Oh, wait, that's what they talk about almost every day. Just another day in Murdoch's Yellow Journalism.

Today on TFS: Giuliani vs Obama. So a washed up ex-mayor whose ass was kicked by Romney claims a President elected twice is less patriotic than himself. Why does anyone give a crap what Rudy says? Oh, it's Fox News.

I used to be a faithful watcher of PBS News Hour, but after I started calling it PBS Snooze Hour, I realized it was time to give it up. Now "The Five" is starting to put this geezer to sleep too, so I guess it's time to find something more lively to do at 2 PM. I was watching it so you wouldn't have to, but I guess you are on your own now, but I would advise: Don't bother. You'll waste an hour and probably be dumber than when you started.

Today on TFS: When hard news is in short supply (and I bet ratings are down), here's what Roger Ailes does: Grab some videos of high school kids beating each other up off You Tube, label it "Culture in Decline", and let the stooges do what they are paid to do: Fill air.

Today on TFS: Roger had to bring in infobabe Megyn Kelley to spice up the stooges. Megyn, of course, was sooooooo outraged by Hillary's e-mail crimes. Yawn.

Just not motivated to follow the Stooges anymore. They've grown stale and predictable, just like Rush Limbaugh. Maybe I have too, but no one is paying me to do this.
