JD you are missing out. The purpose of the show is to show legs. No other reason to watch as far as I'm concerned.

Caught a bit of Greg pontificating on the Baltimore situation, and of course we know who the villains are: liberals. Of course, liberals are responsible for the economic pyramid that creates an underclass at the very bottom, aren't they? Depends what history you subscribe to, I guess. I keep coming back to architecture, believe it or not. What was the thinking that invented the suburbs that the affluent moved to leaving the cities to rot? Also, what was the thinking that the last dozen Presidents who all presided over the de-industrialization of America? What kind of grotesque "Free Market" leaves the giant Bethlehem Steel Works empty and rotting away? I'm sure Libertarianism has a great solution for it all. Alas, I could easily put this in the "Not My Problem" thread.

Today on TFS: TERROR IN TEXAS!! and Greg on a pro-"Free Speech" super-rant (are they ramping things up for ratings? Who knows). I have an idea: Let's parate Pamela Geller into Mecca with her Mohammed cartoons and see what happens. What's my point? "Free Speech" is relative. Go into a biker bar and start talking about how bikers are all queers. No? I agree Pamela has a "right" to slander Mohammed without getting arrested, but that doesn't make it safe to do so, even in Texas. Next time the bad guys might be better shots (and my hat is off to the Texas police).

america.aljazeera.com/opinions/2015/5/citizens-are-speaking-up-against-corrupt-media.html"Standing on the streets of Baltimore to cover what his employer Fox News was calling a “riot,” Geraldo Rivera found himself at the receiving end of a passionate and articulate lecture from Kwame Rose on skewed, sensationalist and racist media coverage. As Rose attempted to engage Rivera in a conversation, the reporter kept walking away, refusing to even make eye contact. The episode was captured on video, uploaded and went viral. Rose became a sensation. Rivera would later intone that Rose’s actions represented “exactly that kind of youthful anarchy that led to the destruction and pain in that community.” The Rivera confrontation was one of many between media professionals and citizens and activists in Baltimore. What is becoming clear is that many people are more than aware of the ways in which the news media have the power to frame and reframe events through words, images, suggestion and omission. What is also clear is that these people are no longer willing to put up with it." Rivera, of course, is another Murdoch stooge.

Today on TFS: The Stooges debate "Free" speech. That's certainly less annoying than when they pretend they have some foreign policy expertise. And Greg even made the point I was trying to make: If I walk into the 'hood yelling the "n word", no one is going to jail for beating the living daylights out of me.

Mrs. Dredd asked me today how I could stand to watch Fox News, because Fox News upsets her and turns her stomach. I told her it's like listeing to some 7th graders talk politics, totally juvenile and impossible to take seriously. Yet amusing.

Today on the Five Stooges: We got a two-fer. Megyn Kelley showed up to hype her interview with Jeb (does that help Megyn or the Five more? I don't know), and she gushed all over how Jeb seemed so PRESIDENTIAL. Is Jeb's lips on Murdoch's tush? I'm not sure.

Today on TFS: After the predictable train wreck coverage (since when has travel ever been completely safe? If you're worried, stay home), the Stooges hit back at Obama's comments about Fox News. Of course it is the Stooge attack dog Greg leading the way. If Obama wasn't such a phony, he would leave Fox News alone and go after the source covertly: Maybe Murdoch needs to wake up with a horse head in his bed.
I guess it's good I'm not President.
Maybe Hillary will have the stones to do what needs to be done. Or maybe I've been watching too much Game of Thrones.

Today on TFS: Kill the kid. What else would you expect from Murdoch's minions? But once you are in that mindset, why stop there? There are lots of people who deserve death IMHO. I can think of one media mogul who I believe has done great harm to America and I think it might be justice if HE was sent to his maker. That's MY bloodthirsty side showing.

SO Fox News has decided only the top ten Republicon contenders for President will be allowed in the debate in August. I have often wondered if Fox News was the propaganda arm of the GOP, or the GOP is the political arm of Fox News. I guess it is now the latter. Congratulations, Rupert.

Even 10 is a lot, it will be a circus. Glad Rick Perry isn't running by the time they would get to him he'd had forgotten the question.

Every time I tune into Bill O'Reilly, I can't help asking myself, is he as dumb as he seems to be? Or is he just dumbing it down for his audience?

Today on TFS: Bishop Dolan saying that America might be "excessively individualistic". Now THAT goes against modern righty dogma, and Greg, of course, had to disagree while the others who are probably more religious agreed to some extent. But they only spent a couple of minutes on that before moving to the cliche how much "college PC" sucks. But I am starting to notice there might be a little righty media pulling back from some of the extremist positions they have been taking. Heck, on AM760, their new morning guy from 10-12 actually SUPPORTED a minimum wage. Have the media corporations that have irresponsibly put extreme righties on the air for years finally realized their roles in polarizing America? I don't know.

I took the "Washington Times" off my desktop today. I got tired of dodging all the "Ten Hollywood Stars with the Biggest Boobs" stories, with just a little bit of real news. Stupid Moonies.
