Didn't see TFS today, but I caught that other Murdoch stooge Billo. Believe it or not, he was taking people who are ignorant of current politics to task, calling them "self-centered and self-absorbed". Really, Bill? Isn't that what the right worships, looking out for numero uno? Haven't you read their favorite novel, "Atlas Shrugged"? What difference does it make if you know who the Vice President is? It doesn't, and young people are smart enough to know what is important and what isn't in their daily lives.

Today the lead story on TFS was the situation in Ukraine. They were somewhat divided about what America can or should do. Maybe Murdoch is getting senile and confused. Or is it the Republican Tea Party that is senile and confused...

Today on TFS, the Hagel defense cuts were the top story. What did the Murdoch stooges think? Well, actually they were all over the map. Obviously they are no more experts on defense than I am. Makes me guess Murdoch is not a big defense contractor shareholder...Oh wait, most of the cuts were in troop strength and old aircraft and not in R & D, so maybe I'm wrong.

Speaking of Murdoch stooges, I caught some of Hannity's "new" show today on the radio. I guess they study the demos like everyone else, and realized he could not survive with majority of his audience being very senior citizens. So today he spent a long time interviewing Alex Trabek. Yes, the game show guy. I guess they figured out that checking off the GOP's talking points daily for three hours did not make for exciting radio.

Today on TFS: Five white people telling black people they should be more like white people. Pretty much just the usual "personal responsibility" trope. Please pay no attention to the class war going on behind the curtain.

Today on TFS: they are gushing over a Cadillac commercial which hypes hard work and buying stuff (especially Cadillacs) which they claim the left is "livid" about. Which "left" are they talking about, I wonder. Like materialism needs any encouragement, but whatever. They are also claiming "pro-American" ads are a new trend. Is that before or after they sell stuff with sex?

www.washingtontimes.com/news/2014/mar/9/gates-obama-strategy-wont-stop-putin/"Former Defense Secretary Robert Gates said Sunday the Obama administration’s attempts to deter Russia from further aggression in Ukraine and across the region are likely to fail. Speaking on “Fox News Sunday,”Mr. Gates said Russian President Vladimir Putin has ambitions beyond just annexing the strategically important Crimean peninsula, which will vote next week on whether to split from Ukraine and join Russia." So here's backstabber Gates criticizing O on (what else?) planet Fox. I'm sure he'll be a regular. And Crimea is "strategically important"? For what? Intercepting Man O' Wars coming through the Bosporus?

I sure hate it when I miss the first 15 minutes of TFS. The last 3/4 of it is usually fluff, fluff, fluff. Of course even the first story is often fluff.

Today's top story on TFS is (once again) the missing Malaysian airliner. One of the stooges claimed "everyone" was intrigued by it. Well, that's a lie, because I couldn't care less. Unless it was abducted by ET's.

Once again, I'm glad I'm not a cable news clown, since I'd now have to feign interest in the Malayan Mystery Flight's fate. I sure hope they find the pieces of it soooooon...

Today on TFS: Obamacare. Suprisingly, one of the stooges said OC was not as good as its supporters say and not as bad as its critics say. And it wasn't the token lib. But OC is nowhere out of the woods IMHO, especially with the Libertarian fad running wild. We will be "reforming" health care for years or decades to come.

Today on TFS: (I watch so you don't have to) Obamacare, again. Yada yada yada. I have a feeling this will be a gift that keeps on giving to the GOP all the way to November. Unless we have a real crisis somewhere.

Today on TFS: They (including the faux lib Bob, who is the biggest Islam basher of The Five) attack CAIR for being critical of a movie about violations of women's rights in the Islamic world. The movie is funded and made by some well-known Zionist Jews. Frankly, I don't care one way or another, I don't have to take a side in the ethnic war between Judaism and Islam and I won't.
