So where is one of my favorite characters, Littlefinger? Isn't he plotting something somewhere? He's too cool to be left out.

So much fun to talk about...except if you are Stannis's daughter, of course. But I did like the end to the Big Games in Mereen. (If only the Superbowl would end like that, it might be worth watching) Aw, too bad about Dany's husband to be. That's what he gets, of course, for talking up how people need to die. But the dragon came back to town! How can anyone complain? I hope Dany lets the other two free now. And Jaime is headed back to King's Landing. Cercei's boyfriend will be back and Sparrowhawk could be in trouble! How about Sensa? And Arya? Will Brienne slice and dice Ramsay like I hoped? SEASON FINALE! How are we going to survive 10 months? Martin better get going I don't remember how far they are into book 5 it is 1,100 pages but at most it is only one more season. So now the Red Woman might be more like Killary than Cercei LOL I watch each episode 2-3 times, read all the books, just might have to buy the collection and start at day one. GOT is my all-time favorite show it is even better than Leave It To Beaver

But she's no doubt dead meat any time now. Maybe Brienne will slice HER up too. I do need 10 months to recuperate. I wonder if the GOT people have considered flashbacks? Well, it's been a crazy day, but I should have time to watch the GOT season finale later tonight. I hope my expectations aren't too high.

SO much for my expectations. Geez, George, if you are going to finish off Jon Snow, you could give us Brienne slicing up Ramsay. Well, at least she got to finish off Stannis. Good job, Red Woman. Get thee to a nunnery. But that little turd who put an arrow into Ygritte showed his true colors. I hope the Wildings get a hold of him. (Any Finns left who want lunch?) I'm glad Sam and Gilly made their getaway. I hope they did. Ramsay's girlfriend got what she deserved, at least, and Theon finally redeemed himself. Stark children should stay away from high places, though. Only the Many-Faced God (Martin?) knows what's up with Arya. Things look bad for relations between the Martells and the Lannisters, no doubt. Really, is George going to kill off all of Cercei and Jaime's offspring? I suppose so. But I wouldn't want to be a Sparrow in 10 months. You do have to admire Lena after Cercei's Walk of Shame. Must have been a hoot to film. Lena walking naked, 20th take! What happened to Petyr?

Oh, I forgot to mention Dany. She's always wandering off and getting into trouble. Nice scene with the horsemen circling.

Once again, I'm going to need 10 months to recover from GOT. I'll have to fill it will real politics, which are no where near as fun.

So I'm the dupe who actually thought Lena Heady walked naked through a big crowd of extras. Technology sucks.

I'm also hearing rumors Jon may not stay dead. Now that would piss me off, but on the other hand it is in the tradition of comic books, where no popular character ever remains dead.

www.nytimes.com/2015/06/16/arts/television/in-game-of-thrones-finale-a-breakdown-in-storytelling.html?_r=0"You wouldn’t have thought that a show based on a beloved series of books, with hundreds of pages of existing story to work from — a “mythology” that is an actual mythology — would become the “Lost” of its television generation. But that’s where “Game of Thrones” finds itself after Sunday night’s Season 5 finale: a wildly popular show that seems to have lost its way, and to be losing faith with a growing number of its viewers." I guess the finale did not meet this guy's expectations. (Are the books really beloved? I hadn't even heard of them before the TV series) But really, this is "Sword and Sorcery", fer chrissakes. It isn't Downton Abbey. Jon Snow had to go, it was becoming the "Jon Snow Show". And for a guy like me who thought Jon made a big mistake betraying Ygritte for the damn Night Watch, a vindication of sorts. If people want a fictional series where sympathetic characters can't die, watch the other 98% of TV. And violence against women? Welcome to Medieval times. As for losing wimpy viewers, so be it, they can go back to watching NCIS.

So in GOT's time slot there is the second season of True Detective. I tried to get into it, but crime is just not that interesting. It is good not having a show I HAVE to see.

Only a little more than three weeks to the return of GOT! It will be such a good break from the stupidest election ever.

A little more than six hours until GOT arrives. It's going to be pretty hard for the producers to meet expectations. And I read they are preparing to wind it up in another season or two. Then there will be NOTHING on TV worth watching again. Thank God for books.
