CM, I just noticed that "EscapeHatch" doesn't show up in the "Active users in the past 24 hours" section. From your profile you can set your visibility, Hatch has chosen to fly under the radar as a stealth member.

CM,
Did you just make some changes to the format? I set my screen resolution low and sit back from my monitor. Now, the full page doesn't fit in my screen display.

Always trying to think of ways to attract guest and stimulate discussion I added links to the left on the home page. You should see “San Diego Scene Links” of menu options right/left and sports links. The changes were tested on different browsers and three different monitor configurations, but there are thousands of possibilities. Only the home page should have changed other pages should have remained the same.
I’ve been in the biz long enough to know it is not possible to test everything so your input is important. Please describe in detail if you are experiencing unusual behavior or if things just look plain screwed up. I can roll back to the previous version and do more testing.
I’ve been working on a new look and feel for 3-4 weeks to make our board more aesthetically and navigationally appealing.

CM, I vote for putting things back to the way they were - I'm still having trouble with the screen resolution. Of course, I'm only one voice on this and it would be best to find out what everyone else thinks. Maybe it's just something to do with "old dogs" not wanting to learn new tricks.

Jack, Have you ever considered a larger monitor or stronger glasses? ? All in fun for the old guys

CM, It's better for my tired old eyes and my square monitor, but like I said, I will gladly bow to the wishes of the group along with your need to enhance the site. A larger monitor isn't in the budget right now - stronger glasses might be an option. I don't ever want to be accused of being afraid of "change". Which reminds me that we should ask all the regulars here to promote this site and try to help get more members.

It is a happy night and all things are good, I'll get serious when the altered state subsides.

Jack,
I couldn't read the posts earlier either. On my screen the last few words of each sentence were off the screen.
Happy B-Day, Larry and Stephanie! Where is Stephanie??

Yes, it is good now on my screen. Since I am not as computer savvy as many here, I thought it was just me until Jack said he was having problems as well. Thanks.

CM,
Excellent quick catch by your moderators. I just happened to be here to read his posts. He also made an appearance on RR's blog today. They weren't so quick, nor do they delete the posts. Kudos!
