This one was a 1947 Harley Knucklehead, origional engine and tranny.... but rebuilt.... the rest I found and put together. I loved this bike, it lives in Colorado now. Attachments:

This one is interesting.... it is a 1979 Electraglide Shovelhead.... it took me everywhere. I crashed it one xmas eve, head on into a car... totalled it. The next post shows how I rebuilt it. Attachments:

9 months after wrecking it, and after heart surgery, this is what I ended up with. A friend did the frame for me, I did the rest. We got this so light and low to the ground that it was tuff keeping the front end on the ground, what a fun bike. Attachments:

ya, I have fun with the G-Kids.... next time they come over, they want rides on the Harley. I gotta watch the littlest, she gets her sneaker on the pipe and I end up with melted rubber on it.
Its funny... I was told that thier other gampa woulda got pissed about the styrofoam all over the place and woulda made them stop. Hard to beleive, no? I enjoyed watching them work with it, and it only took me a few minutes to vacumm it up.
