There are display difference between IE and FF, some of the difference may be a result of adding the font drop down menu. Firefox v3.5.5: The below is what the screen should look like. Notice all the emoticons are to the right of the "Add Smilies:" label. IE 8.06: In IE the emoticons appear to the right of the "Message Icon:" label. If your browsers is displaying incorrectly please post a screen snap here. Also include brower type and version.

That is one of the things I saw yesterday - but today I am seeing a different issue (which I PM'd you)

Yours is really screwed up, did this start happening after I installed the font drop-down menu?

Yours is really screwed up, did this start happening after I installed the font drop-down menu? It worked initially after the font drop-down. It was later in the day that it was not functioning well. And as far as really screwed up - when I do something I do it well! Even my canned apps tend to follow my characteristics!

When you view the source look for things like the below, they should be in green, my code would follow.

<!--begin SD Scene drop down menu links-->

Thank you raddy, I do not use compatibility mode due to the issues that the patches have created with it. Compatibility mode had fixed IE7 related errors but a subsequent patch broke that... Thus compatibility mode is no longer the best option.
Turk, In PM the emoticons were in the right place. Here in this thread they are not (meaning they are back in the column that has the words: Add Tags). Let me test a few other threads.

I can change the order of the code loading but I'll wait to see what you find.

1) Turk,
Look at the source code for the PMs. It is calling out a special coding that is not in the thread replies. It is not until you get to Line 318 that it lines up with the line 279 of the thread reply/create/modify message.
Modify PM Line 279 is
<!--Private Messages Panel (PBv4 version)--> <!--Coded By Xylish/Joe --> <!--Please do not post this code without my permission --> <!--http://studiozero.proboards44.com-->
<script type="text/javascript"> <!--
<!-- Edit your welcome message for the guests --> var welcomemsg = "Welcome to San Diego Scene"
<!-- URL of your New Message Icon --> var nmsgicon = "http://s1.images.proboards.com/im_new.gif";
<!-- URL of your Mark As Read Icon --> var markicon = "http://s1.images.proboards.com/im_markasread.gif";
<!-- URL of your Inbox Icon --> var inbxicon = "http://s1.images.proboards.com/im_inbox.gif";
<!-- URL of your Outbox Icon--> var outbxicon = "http://s1.images.proboards.com/im_outbox.gif";
<!-- URL of your Preferences Icon --> var preficon = "http://s1.images.proboards.com/im_config.gif";
document.write('<sc'+'ript src="http://iycatacombs.com/codes/joes/pmp.js"></sc'+'ript>'); //--> </script>
<!--end PM menu-->
2) coding discrepancies between PM and Thread posts. (Within the threads, the replies contain other posts - I ignored that and moved on to the main coding)
This is from the Modify thread - below you will find a neater version with the PM - <!-- begin drop down font menu -->
<script type="text/javascript"> <!--
var font=["Verdana","Times New Roman","Comic Sans MS","Arial","Courier New","Tahoma","Century","Autumn","Lucida Console","Rockwell","Scibble","Trebuchet"];
function aF(font){add("", font);} var td=document.getElementsByTagName("td"); for(e=0;e<td.length;e++) if(document.postForm && td[e].width=="70%" && td[e].className=="windowbg2" && td[e].previousSibling.innerHTML.match(/Add Tags/)){ var dropBox='<select onChange="aF(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value); this.selectedIndex=0;"><option value="">Font</option>'; for(j=0;j<font.length;j++) { dropBox+='<option value="'+font[j]+'">'+font[j]+'</option>'; } dropBox+='</select>'; td[e].innerHTML+=dropBox; } //--> </script>
<!-- end drop down font menu --><center><form method="get" action="http://www.google.com/custom"
PM modification:
<!-- begin drop down font menu -->
<script type="text/javascript"> <!--
var font=["Verdana","Times New Roman","Comic Sans MS","Arial","Courier New","Tahoma","Century","Autumn","Lucida Console","Rockwell","Scibble","Trebuchet"];
function aF(font){add("[font=", "", font);} var td=document.getElementsByTagName("td"); for(e=0;e<td.length;e++) if(document.postForm && td[e].width=="70%" && td[e].className=="windowbg2" && td[e].previousSibling.innerHTML.match(/Add Tags/)){ var dropBox='<select onChange="aF(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value); this.selectedIndex=0;"><option value="">Font</option>'; for(j=0;j<font.length;j++) { dropBox+='<option value="'+font[j]+'">'+font[j]+'</option>'; } dropBox+='</select>'; td[e].innerHTML+=dropBox; } //--> </script>
<!-- end drop down font menu --><br/><!-- begin define style for ultimate info center-->

Turk, I am not sure if this matters - but in the smilies script you have (/Add Smilies:/) Whereas here you have (/Add Tags/) I am not sure how sensitive the coding must be - but is there a chance the : makes a difference here? var td=document.getElementsByTagName("td"); for(e=0;e<td.length;e++) if(document.postForm && td[e].width=="70%" && td[e].className=="windowbg2" && td[e].previousSibling.innerHTML.match(/Add Tags/)){ var dropBox='<select onChange="aF(this.options[this.selectedIndex].value); this.selectedIndex=0;"><option value="">Font</option>'; for(j=0;j<font.length;j++) {{{{{{{{<!-- begin drop down font menu --> <script type="text/javascript"> <!-- }}}}}}}}}}} is the section I am addressing.

<script type="text/javascript"> <!-- if (pb_username == "cmdynasty") { if (location.href.match(/boardmages/)) { document.write('<textarea style="width: 300px; height: 200px;">'); document.write('<script>\n \ <!-- \n \ \n \ if (location.href.match(/boardimages/)) { \n \ pbInputs = document.getElementsByTagName(\'input\'); \n \ \n \ var customImages = [ \n\ ');
Shouldn't that be boardimages >
