Sapote, good guess the white sapote looks very familiar, but you are on the wrong continent. Clue: China Candy Thorns Jujube ? Yup. I have many tree it is an amazing fruit that goes wonderfully in an arugula salad with a light vinaigrette. I sell them for a buck apiece. They are hugely popular in Iran.

This photo was taken minutes ago which should be a clue. If you are from the south you’ve seen this if you are from the Ozarks you own this. Very popular in Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi, and Alabama.
