LT was a non event last night and once again Sproles has earned his spot!
Overall the defense did it's job but there are some areas in need of improvement. Having that much trouble with Raiders is unnerving.

The overall performance of the Chargers was disappointing even though the did win. It doesn't give much hope for a strong season the way they played "most" of the game. They did pull off an unusual last minute win when most were thinking the Chargers were going to give another last minute loss as has happened so many times. Especially with the blown coverage that gave the Raiders the lead in the last 3 minutes! Sproles is a great player but I saw something surprising in this game. The Raiders have "at least" two players who can run Sproles down, i.e. much faster than Sproles. The Raiders have really done their homework as they did control most of the game showing that they are a much better team than last year. After their go ahead score they pulled the Chargers role and let down their fans by not continuing giving the Chargers the problems they had done MOST of the game. I'll take the win as it looks like we will need everyone we can get. I don't expect much of a season if they continue to play like last night. Then again, one can't always judge a season from one game.

As Tom Brady said"it wasn't the way we drew it up but we'll take the W.The only thing worse than our CHARGERS performance was the moron for the BILLS running the kick off out of the end zone.1 question I'd like to ask the idiot,How much did the Patriots pay you to plat that stupidly? Also the commentators were biased as usual, acting as if Brady were the second coming of Obama.

New Orleans beat the Lions! I was kind of rooting for the Lions cause of Matthew Stafford (always thought he should have been like 5th round pick, I didn't see anything special while in college, but I like the Georgia Dawgs).

This sure the hell dates me but I fell asleep half-time when I turned the tube on around 5:30 I had forgotten I was watching the game until the sports guy came on and said, ‘the Chargers won.”
I did see the first half and read about the second. That was the best Oakland team I’ve seen in years. They played well and appeared to be coached very well. Oakland was better prepared than the Chargers, Oakland just lacked talent. Oakland almost made up for the lack of talent with coaching something the Chargers have rarely found.
However good teams find a way to win even when they play poorly, if we are to beat Baltimore next week we need to play greatly.

4th an 2 to go and we forget to block Ray Lewis, come on Chargers run North and South not side to side and why not use a bigger back for the short yardage play? What happened Norv? Also, maybe 30 years old is the unlucky age for running backs,I can only hope not.Michael Turner would have gotten us that 1st down no doubt.

Bad play calling and worst execution. The game changer was the 2nd quarter field goal we had time to run one more play then kick Norv wimped out

THEEE Greatest game I ever experienced 82' playoff game :S.D. vs. Miami ,even though it was only TV I remember sitting in the den and nearly jumping through the TV when Benerschka (forgive my spelling his name wrong)kicked that field goal finally,it surprised me how into it I was, just a good old fashion thrill. Now what are the feelings about the STEELERS?I pick us by 3.

The Steelers have lost two straight, it is going to be hard spanking them in their own crib.
