Another name appears along with the accusation of steroid use.David Ortiz has been named as a steroid user from tests taken back in 2003.Now back in 03' there were legally available pro-hormones.Depending on the pro-hormone,such as ANDROSTENEDIONE,would depend on your tests outcome.Andro will convert to testosterone showing elevated amounts in the blood stream.I can't remember the name of which pro-hormones are converted to NANDRALONE,but in 2003 there were many and they were LEGAL.So,I can believe "Big Pappi"when he states that he may have taken supplements with this capability of returning a "dirty"result.

I'll also take Ortiz at his word, thankfully there are rules in place now.
When my son played for the Mets he had to read and acknowledge their drug policy. Baseball has control over minor league players, room checks, random testing, etc. but the control in the "bigs" is the union.

Mark McGuire finally tells the truth .We couldn't have guessed it by the way he ballooned up over the last ten years, same with Barry Bonds. It's well known the after 30 years old is when you really start to grow No give away by the enlarged cranium and 40 lbs of muscle added.Couldn't have been spinach because that makes your forearms grow just ask POPEYE,
