When I first saw this thread never did I think we would learn about “The Classics” as FemDem has shown us. What about “Debbie Does Dallas” FemDem?
One of my favorites “The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly”

"Taking Chance" is a very powerful and moving HBO film that was done quite tastefully and is rather disarming in it's simplicity. It is based on real-life events, as Lt. Col. Michael Strobl (played by Kevin Bacon), a volunteer military escort officer, accompanies the body of 19-year-old Marine Chance Phelps back to his hometown of Dubois, Wyoming.

Thumbs way up for "Shenandoah"!!!! I LOVE that movie too. Jimmy Stewart at his very best. I cry every time I watch that.
"The Snow Goose" with Richard Harris and "The Traveling Executioner" with Stacey Keach; although, you can't watch them over and over again because they are not to be found anywhere. I don't know why.

This was a very well made movie and a must see!

dale: How could I have forgotten "All That Jazz"?
Also, I'll watch the original "The Alamo" just to see John Wayne get a lance in the gut...
