Everything is green and lush, which means weeds and dry dead fuel for fall. The hill is an extinct volcano evidenced by lava rock. You can see my fence line about half way up in the picture, this is the highest elevation on our property 2550’.

Thanks Dolphie. Once I would take 1,000's of picture annually but time gets in the way and I've not done something I've enjoyed. Time to make a change. The neighbors came visiting for a little fishing. The deal is they fish for cats and they keep their catch. I let the guys alone, you know the male ego thing, of course they know what they are doing.

It was the guys against the girl. Guess who's side I was on? She caught all on her own 4 cats 17,15,13, and 13 pounds. They had a huge party and made catfish tacos. The thrill for me is that I created something people like to visit and always leave with good memories. The property is achieving one of my goals in life.

When the lily pads open dragon flies will be hatching soon. I had to lay on my belly for this shot. With maximum depth of field that I could hand hold I put the the camera right on the water.

That is frame it and place it on the wall perfect. What a paradise! You are a good photographer, Turk!
