First anti government killing, no suprise amongst the daily 7 day 24 hour bashing of our president. Is this the first anti American government hate crime? It looks like it to me. With all the anti government talk on talk radio this comes to no suprise to many. Why was this not reported until now? Id be curious to other reports of this tragic incedent. VERY SAD BUT NO SUPRISE. The brilliance of outhouse poetry has more creditability than the ................. of this author. Time to wake up and smell the horizon. The radical left shoot first mentality sets the stage for an Obama takeover of freedom. Turk said lynch mob, the author of this topic IS consumed of hate lynch mob mentality. In 8 months Obama has destroyed America more than the preceding 56 (challenge me) presidents combined. Obama will be the first American president to serve jail time and I hope to God the republican president has the balls to let him rot and not pardon his anti-American ass.

It is rural Kentucky, the census worked may have walked into a working moonshine business, sure makes a lot of sense to me also would explain the word “Fed.” It would be like wandering in the woods around Cave Junction, OR (one of the best pot growing areas in the USA,) if you don’t step in a bear trap you are very likely to get shot. Unfortunately JO you feed off whatever the left talking head shoves down your throat. But let’s not get hung up on details. I have made similar comments on another thread. As for pot growing areas, one of my brothers used to do surveying (as in land plots). He often went into isolated areas and encountered pot growers. He informed them he was not a government official and could care less what they were doing. Then he added that if something happened to him, then there would be "officials" looking into his disappearance and someone else would be out there to finish the job. Fortunately, they always left him alone. It seems there are some on the left just looking for something to blame for the criticism of Obama. One would be better off talking about Palin for President!

Well, Jack Oliver, I am going to give you a big for posting the article, the byline and the link in accordance with the recently posted guidelines. Plus, you kept your post short and on point. Good job. Now, about your point... just exactly what are you trying to say? Did Rush or Rick Roberts say something to cause this terrible crime, if it was a homicide? Or, just maybe, he was a Rush or RR fan and, being a government worker, decided to end it all out of a feeling of shame. If I worked for Obama, I'd think twice about wanting to go on... I wonder just how you keep it together, too. I give you another just for keeping up your act as well as you do. Next time I see Mr. Carter, I'll be sure to let him know that there really is someone out there with your enthusiastic loyalty that really thinks he is from this planet, too. He'll appreciate hearing that. I just realized your caluous remark about this poor murdered victim. You think he committed suicied because he works for Obama? More republican hatred and cold heartedness. there is nothing more for me to say to you. some one is dead hatch. dead. Sounds like a threat! I highlighted the red above for emphasis to my response.

Here is an article that might shine a light on the death of this census worker. The title alone does give some indication that, perhaps, this was NOT a politically motivated murder! news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20090924/ap_on_re_us/us_census_worker_hangedAP Associated Press "Area where census worker died has troubled history" Sept. 24, 2009 Great link! I saw this earlier. In this area, the HATRED of the GOVERNMENT has NOTHING to do with Obama and EVERYTHING to do with AUTHORITY!

EVERYTHING to do with AUTHORITY! The census taker could have been mistaken for an ATF agent; it would not have been the first time. If you ever find yourself in the hills of the Ozarks you truly have entered another age. In the 70’s I was working on a project that took me from Mina, Arkansas to Willow Springs, Missouri, I met people that where as backwards as the Mudmen of Papua New Guinea (and I lived there also.)

I can't say I have been in the "backwards" part of this country, but I can say I have traipsed through the Mendocino County back country and that had its challenges!

Since law enforcement officials in Kentucky have said it does not appear to have been a suicide, then it was murder. Either he stumbled on to some druggies or it was an anti-government act. It's highly doubtful if it was personal. I don't plan on going to rural Kentucky anytime soon.

It's highly doubtful if it was personal. I don't plan on going to rural Kentucky anytime soon. Anti-government is different from people who attend townhall meetings, rallies and it is different from the talk show hosts. If the latter were anti-government - they would not be fighting so hard to protect the core values of our constitution. Anti-government sentimentality has been around for eons. Those folks do not care who is in office - they just don't want the government anywhere near their privacy and lands.
