Once again, law and order has become an issue. Why now? Blame the cause of your choice. Perhaps too much inequality plus too much freedom has a role. Which one should we cure? But of course only one party can be “Tougher on crime”, so the GOP will benefit politically. I wonder if the left can blame it on climate change? No wonder they are sinking.

Inequality is still looking us right in the face. All the whining about the state of San Francisco, with middle class turdophobia, and the outrage about no 10 year felony sentences for stealing a box of Twinkies. Any day now I expect them to start giving away free condos on Nob Hill. Inequality is a worldwide problem of course, and even an Aryan paradise like Sweden ends up having problems with immigrants. Of course there is always the Socialist solution, which is to make everyone equally poor. How bad is that really? I wouldn’t know. Will our robot overlords put up with the wealth pyramid? Is freedom actually an illusion? I think a lot of homeless don’t think so.

As I say in the modified first post, I dropped the A=B and B=A point of this thread. I think Freedom equals Inequality says enough. Plus I want to talk about how the successful oppress the unsuccessful.
