www.nytimes.com/2015/05/06/us/politics/hillary-clinton-gains-favor-times-cbs-poll-says.html?_r=0"Hillary Rodham Clinton appears to have initially weathered a barrage of news about her use of a private email account when she was secretary of state and the practices of her family’s foundation, an indication that she is starting her second presidential bid with an unusual durability among Democratic voters. Americans now view Mrs. Clinton more favorably and more see her as a strong leader than they did earlier in the year, despite weeks of scrutiny about her ethics, a New York Times/CBS News poll has found. And nearly nine in 10 Democrats say the nation is ready to elect a woman president." Aw hell, the first shots from the Republicon mud cannons apparently fell short. Well, if first you don't succeed...

If Hilary wins she will define the "Fat lady sings" Well, Golda Meir was no anorexic case. And Margaret Thatcher had really, really, really BIG hair.

Looks like Hips might have some legitimate challengers from the radical left. Her inability to face media should panic everyone that supports an old bag in a Nehru Jacket.

I'm much older than Hips. I'm to old to run for my one vote but Hips, even much younger than I, should be ashamed to have the arrogance to run for Prez. She is a radical lib.

The reason she won't be getting my vote is she's too far to the right. And I'm done holding my nose and voting for a Democrat to the right of me and having them lose. And if they win, I still lose and get a warmonger like Obama.

Once again I was listening to the radio and the blowhard was talking about some new Clinton scandal. I think they believe they can sink Hillary by the sheer weight of mud thrown on her. They could be right, I suppose. Even some Democrats appear to be having second thoughts. There was a puff piece on the awesome awesomeness of Elizabeth Warren on MSLSD last night, but frankly I think the GOP would like nothing better than for the Dems to dump Hillary. They only attack her so vehemently because they are afraid of her, and whatever scares righties can't be so bad.

So what's today's chickenshit Hillary scandal? Who knows, who cares? Fox zombies, I guess.

So Cercei Hillary has jumped into the voter registration controversy. Good for her. The GOP is only fooling itself, again.

www.nationalreview.com/article/419493/end-clinton-coalition-rich-lowry"Every time Hillary Clinton makes a left-wing policy pronouncement, it is, in effect, another eulogy marking the death of the coalition and style of politics that twice made her husband president. Bill Clinton got elected by peeling off working-class whites and suburbanites from the Republican party, while holding traditional Democratic voters. He made significant geographic inroads, winning a handful of southern states both in 1992 and in his 1996 reelection, when he narrowly won the popular vote in the region as a whole. This is all very interesting, but we might as well be talking about Grover Cleveland’s path to the presidency in 1884. The Clinton coalition is rusty and up on blocks in some overgrown backyard like the El Camino pickup he once boasted about. And Hillary knows it. Who is pushing Hillary to the left? Hillary is. It’s not the memory of what Barack Obama did to her in the 2008 primaries. It’s not fear of Elizabeth Warren. It’s not worry over the primary threats from Bernie Sanders and Martin O’Malley. It’s sheer electoral necessity." From where I sit Hillary is about as "left wing" as Spiro Agnew. But if she is too liberal for working-class whites and suburbanites, good, even if she loses. I don't want another DINO Bill Clinton. I'd rather have RINO Jeb.

www.nationalreview.com/article/419778/clintons-challenge-republicans-editors"Just because she’s an uninspiring figure doesn’t mean she can’t win. That calculation clearly underlay Hillary Clinton’s Roosevelt Island speech over the weekend. She hardly tried to inspire: Both the writing and the delivery were pedestrian, at best. What she did instead was outline liberal policies and celebrate the liberal coalition. The theory seems to be that those policies are sufficiently popular, and that coalition sufficiently large, that together they can bring her victory no matter how meager her political talent or how suspect her character." "Hillary Clinton is betting that Republicans can’t, or won’t, campaign on such an agenda, that they won’t make the case that conservative principles can help Americans address their practical challenges. In this ever-enlarging Republican field, surely someone can prove her wrong." Gosh, it's still over a year until November 2016 and the righties are already sounding a little worried about the Hillary threat. But I thought ever one of the GOP hopefuls are the second coming of Jesus, or even better, Reagan. Or so I hear on White Radio.
