Ok, this is hilarious: governors from guns ‘n Jesus states trying to ban Tik Tok from public college campuses. Not that I care since I am over 30, but it does make me think this is another nail in the coffin of a right having trouble attracting younger voters.

All the paranoid old farts in Congress are now going after TikTok. I hope they ban it as a lesson to young kids about who is their real enemy. And it isn’t China.

Ha-ha! The latest thing to get the right’s panties all twisted up is Bud Light using a trans person as a spokesman. Must be a slow news week.

So bigoted beer drinkers are turning their back on Bud Light. Don’t drink beer (and when I did I bought Dos Equis) so I don’t give a crap. I just wonder the age group of these buffoons are. Gen X? Millennials? Is it just men? My opinion is the.trans movement is an arm of feminism. Both fight male supremacy, which AI is going to destroy anyway.

Makes me laugh: Montana has banned Tik Tok. I wonder what Gen Z thinks about that? Old farts at work.

I’m always the last to know so I’ve just found out what getting “red-pilled” means. How cute. Those righties are so clever.

Ha-ha! Old fart Paul Harvey seems to be resurrected. I’m seeing his commentary “If I were the Devil” from 1965 more than one place. Ah, a moldy oldie if I ever heard one. But typical of his generation.

I’m getting a pretty good idea of how the right is going to fight the culture war: Demonize the LGBQ and trans community. Makes sense. Those groups are well represented in the arts and culture, including cinema and literature. Even JBP concedes creative types lean left.

It seems to me the right ‘s cultural offensive attacking trans people is starting to wane. Bud Lite is old news. Barbie is a blockbuster.

I happened to stumble upon a clip on YouTube from Family Guy, now in its 21st season, in which Stewie goes on an anti trans rant, and I remembered why I avoid American animation and only watch anime.

So Congress passed the NDAA. With modifications from the Neanderthal right. From the NYT: “ Democrats did accept some items from the G.O.P.’s priority list as part of the bargain. The legislation places a salary cap on positions devoted to diversity, equity and inclusion training, which is expected to force a number of senior officials to be reassigned. It bans the teaching of critical race theory in military schools” I don’t blame the Democrats for letting this shite slide. DEI and CRT are only issues for the cultists on the nut right.

Mr. Brooks in the NYT actually has an interesting column today where he praises something I like, small magazines, which I suspect are rejected by Millennials and the ilk. He mentions an article in one on a subject I mentioned to my therapist (and I need one) that AI will replace parents as teachers of young people because frankly parents are stupid (I should know I am one). David is afraid AI will not teach children our awesome values (which ones? Superstition, war, and consumerism?) AI raising our kids is inevitable. Or not.

So the Prez of Harvard has resigned. To me, it looks like she was the victim of a new McCarthyite witch hunt. Is it part of the right wing plot to retake academia? Whatever. A lot of the worst people in America have graduated from Harvard.

Speaking of sh%tty people from Harvard, this is from the NYT:
“ In an interview this week, Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman slammed the BDS movement and said that although Harvard University has always been a little "pinko" he doesn’t "recognize" it 25 years after he attended the school following Claudine Gay’s resignation as president.
"As an alum of Harvard — look, I graduated 25 years ago, and of course it was always a little pinko," Fetterman told Semafor this week "But now, I don’t recognize it."

Fun article in the NYT of how the corrupt one percenters on the board at Harvard, most heirs to big fortunes, stabbed President Gay in the back. But CRT is only to be condemned, not debated.
